Little Bunches Entry #1
I'll be posting a few behind the scenes posts about my shop Little Bunches here on my blog. Today, I wanted to give you a short background of my shop. My friends and family seem to know a bit more and have been so supportive but you are probably reading this and thinking..."I didn't know you had a shop." Mostly because I have a personal Instagram account @crystal.cara where I almost NEVER post or talk about it, only on my @littlebunches feed.
It's been a few years now that I've started Little Bunches and it sure has evolved over the years. I work from home in our spare bedroom that has been used as a baby room / office room and sewing room. So now that our boys have a bunk bed and share rooms, it's worked out great because slowly I've been organizing the room into my sewing space. However, its still in the works, my next project is hanging my peg boards.
I started sewing Diaper Clutches because I simply couldn't find anything my style or anything that was useful. Lots of diaper clutches out there only had space to carry diapers and wipes, but not diaper pad. I wanted to stay away from anything boy/baby theme too. I thought, just because I am having a baby boy doesn't mean I have to stay away from nice prints and patterns. I found some patterns I really loved and began sewing a Diaper Clutch (btw, a zippered bag was one of the first things I mastered in sewing). I also designed a diaper pad / changing pad that allowed me to change my babies dirty diaper on, along with a wipe case. Later, I started giving them out as gifts to all my friends and family members at their baby shower's. SInce then, its been evolving into what you see today. Currently, I'm working on getting some of my items manufactured and I can't wait to share with you all once its in place.
